Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Operational Center for the Information Society (NOSi) will help the City Hall of Santa Catarina in its process for digital transition, through a service contract, signed today in the City of Praia.
Speaking to the press, after initialing the contract, the president of NOSi, Carlos Pina, said that the partnership intends improving the quality of the service is provided to the citizen, improving the local companies competitiveness and, above all, the municipality can attract people and companies.
“And the digital is fundamental to this process of transparency in improving services, competitiveness and accountability, so digital is fundamental,” said Carlos Pina, considering that the municipality of Santa Catarina, due to its “size and relevance”, deserves the full support of NOSi in this process for digital transition.
However, Carlos Pina said that the institution he runs has already signed similar agreements with 11 of the 22 municipalities of Cabo Verde, through a process that comes since 2016, when the Government changed the business model with NOSi.
