According to the program, on the first day of his visit, José Carlos Delgado has scheduled a meeting with the municipal executive and the Municipal Assembly of São Filipe, followed by an open conversation about “the role and attributions of the Ombudsman” addressed to the 12th grade students. year, teachers and staff from the Pedro Verona Pires secondary school, located in Ponta Verde, in the north of São Filipe, and a visit to the Regional Chain of Fogo.
On the second day of the visit, you will be in Mosteiros, where, in addition to the meeting with the municipal executive and the Municipal Assembly, an open conversation with 12th grade students, teachers and employees of the secondary school of Mosteiros is scheduled, as well as a visit to the center for the elderly in this municipality.
In the municipality of Santa Catarina, the third to receive the visit of the Ombudsman, in addition to the meeting with the municipal executive and the Municipal Assembly and the open conversation about “the role and attributions of the Ombudsman” aimed at 10th and 12th grade students from the Eduardo Gomes Miranda Educational Complex, has scheduled visits to the delegation of the Ministry of Education, the Civil Registry Office, the Cova Figueira Health Center, the National Police Station and the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
Prior to his visit to Brava, and in the municipality of São Filipe, the Ombudsman has scheduled a meeting with the living forces of São Filipe, including musicians, artisans, sports teams and carnival groups, as well as a visit to an institution or non-governmental organization. -governmental (NGO) of a social nature such as the Cape Verde Women’s Organization (OMCV), ADB Community Association, Environmental Preservation Project, COSPE, Red Cross, Salinas Fishermen’s Association (north).
A visit to the São Francisco de Assis Regional Hospital and the Mosteiros FM Community Radio station, whose headquarters are located in Monte Barro, São Filipe, are also included in the programme.
