According to Inforpress, on the first (18/10) of the five days of the visit, deputies Eva Ortet, Luís Pires and Clara Andrade had formal meetings and consultations with the population in the different locations and, for today, they have scheduled a meeting with the coordinator of Regional Development Agency of the Association of Municipalities of Fogo and Brava and with the regional coordinator of Electra.
To find out about the situation of justice on the island, parliamentarians have scheduled separate meetings with the spokesperson for Fogo’s lawyers and with one of the island’s oldest lawyers, with visits to the Court and the Public Prosecutor’s Office followed by meetings also scheduled. with the presiding judge and the coordinator of the Public Ministry.
A visit to the premises of the São Filipe Registry and Notary Office and a meeting with the registrar/notary is part of the program for the visit of PAICV deputies to the constituency to collect data for the debate on the state of Justice, concludes the source of this newspaper.
