Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cabo Verdean Paralympic athlete Heidilene Oliveira won her first bronze medal for Cabo Verde at the Tunis 2022 World Para Athletics – Grand Prix, which runs from 23 to 27 in Tunisia.

Heidilene Oliveira and her guide Jailson Oliveira won the bronze medal in the 100-meter T12 Visual Impairment, with a time of 13.77 seconds.

The other Creole athlete in this race, Jailson Andrade Correia, and his guide Isaías Moniz, made a time of 13.22 seconds in the 100-meter race for the T11 Visual Impairment.

The most international Paralympic Cabo Verdean, Marilson Semedo, was in the javalin competition and finished the race in fifth place, with a best throw of 36.95 meters, surpassing his best mark made in Tokyo 2021 by more than 3.88 meters.
