Parliament: Debate with Minister for the Communities marks first plenary session in May

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The debate with the Minister of Communities, Jorge Santos, will mark the first plenary session of this month, which kicks off this Wednesday, May 11, in the National Assembly.

According to the parliamentary agenda, the debate with Jorge Santos was requested by the parliamentary bench of the Movement for Democracy (MpD, ruling party).

The session will also be marked by questions from MPs to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Business Development and Minister of Digital Economy, Olavo Correia, as requested by the parliamentary bench of the African Independence Party of Cabo Verde (PAICV, opposition party).

Also on the agenda is a set of bill, namely the proposed law amending the Criminal Code, adopted by Legislative Decree No. 4/2003 of 18 November and a bill amending the fourth amendment to the Code of Criminal Procedure, adopted by Legislative Decree No. 2/2005, of 7 February both for final vote.
