Africa-Press – Cape verde. Parliament will debate, in the next plenary session, at the request of the PAICV, inter-island and Cape Verde connectivity with the rest of the world, as reported by the National Assembly.
According to the agenda of the first session of February, which takes place between the 7th and 9th, a debate is scheduled with the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Spatial Planning, Eunice Silva, followed by a question to the Government about inter-island connectivity in Cape Verde with the world.
The Session also includes questions from deputies to the Government, the assessment of the Cape Verdean Parliament Reform Report and the approval of legislative proposals.
Among the items on the agenda is the approval of the Bill that proposes the first amendment to Law N. 33/X/2023, of August 22, defining the conditions for attribution, acquisition, loss and reacquisition of Cape Verdean nationality.
In addition, the Draft Resolution that proposes changes to Resolution N 17/X/2021, of October 13, which created the Parliamentary Friendship Groups, will be discussed in detail.
“The presence of the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Spatial Planning, Eunice Silva, is the result of a request from the Bench of the African Independence Party of Cape Verde (PAICV), which also proposed the debate on inter-island connectivity”, it reads .
The Movement for Democracy (MpD), in turn, requested the presence of the Minister of State Modernization and Public Administration, Edna Oliveira.
