Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Madrugadores sports and recreation group in the municipality of Porto Novo, Santo Antão, received a donation of footwear from Cape Verdean handball internationals Paulo Moreno and Leandro Semedo on Monday
The donation, according to the Madrugadores, consists of 20 pairs of shoes, 11 of which are for goalkeepers, which are hard to find in Cabo Verde, according to the Madrugadores’ handball coach, Juary Nobre.
Paulo Moreno is a center and captain of Benfica and Leandro Semedo is captain of the national team and now is Maritimo player.
“We are pleased with this action and with the generosity of the Cape Verdean internationals, who promise to make good use of the materials,” said the same source, according to whom this support will be shared with other clubs in need.
