Africa-Press – Cape verde. Two road accidents, which resulted in several minor injuries, marked the Easter festivities in the municipality of Porto Novo, where attention was focused on the towns of Tarrafal de Monte Trigo and Ribeira das Patas.
The Civil Protection services told Inforpress that the Easter festivities in the municipality of Porto Novo took place normally, with two road accidents worth highlighting that caused close to a dozen minor injuries.
On the Tarrafal de Monte Trigo road, a light vehicle crashed and the occupants suffered minor injuries, confirmed the Porto Novo Volunteer Fire Department.
On the road that connects the city of Porto Novo to Ribeira das Patas, a motorcycle also crashed, resulting in a non-serious injury.
“Apart from that, the Easter festivities took place normally despite the great movement that marked the municipality of Porto Novo this weekend”, said a representative of the local fire services.
The Easter festivities in the municipality of Porto Novo reached their peak between the 28th and 31st of March, the program of which was marked by religious, cultural and entertainment activities, with emphasis on theater, with a show with the theater company Juventude on March in Tarrafal de Monte Trigo.
Still in the Tarrafal de Monte Trigo area, the artists Acondize, Léo Pereira, Ailine & Jessy and MSG Dreamer & Djeia brightened up the festivities.
In Ribeira das Patas, the highlight is the show by artist Batchart.
