Africa-Press – Cape verde. A delegation from the Smiley Kids association, from Luxembourg, was visiting Porto Novo, in Santo Antão, in recent days, to deliver school materials to schools in this municipality in Santo Antão.

Smiley Kids completed a program to deliver school materials to schools in Casa de Meio, Chã de Mato/Ponto Sul, Ribeira das Patas, Alto Mira, Planalto Norte, Chã Manuelinho and Chã de Norte.
In addition to the schools, the Casa da Criança was also awarded a donation.
Since 2020, this Luxembourg association has been supporting schools in the municipality of Porto Novo with school materials and institutions with donations, namely the Health Department, Casa da Criança, high schools and kindergartens.
The Porto Novo city council says it has a partnership with the Smiley Kids association in the installation of the Porto Novo municipal music school.
The municipal music school, which will operate on the premises of the local youth center, is part of a series of cultural projects that the Porto Novo City Council has planned for next year.
