Africa-Press – Cape verde. The City Council of Dudelange (Luxembourg) is available to deepen friendship ties with the Porto Novo counterpart, Santo Antão, and support this municipality in candidacies for European Union (EU) calls.
The information was provided today by the Porto Novo City Council, which said that the mayor, Aníbal Fonseca, as part of a mission he is carrying out to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, had already met his counterpart from Dudelange, Dan Biancalana, in which these issues were addressed.
The two mayors expressed their “mutual desire” to maintain contacts, exchange experiences, and the Dudelange council may ensure, in the future, “possible support to Porto Novo City Council in candidacies for European Union calls”, said the municipality in a note to which Inforpress had access.
The meeting also served to get to know the two territories, as well as the potentialities, challenges, present the existing opportunities and the desire to deepen the relations of friendship, cultural exchanges and cooperation.
