Africa-Press – Cape verde. A group of almost three dozen young Italian missionaries are visiting the municipality of Porto Novo, where, until August 24, they will promote a “summer school”.
These young people, who have already been received by the municipal authorities, are being accompanied by Cape Verdean priest Flávio Correia, who is on mission in Italy.
Inforpress learned from the youth parish secretariat of Porto Novo that the visit of young missionaries to the county aims to get to know the reality of Cabo Verde, carry out exchanges, promote activities with children and develop social projects.
According to the same source, during their stay in the municipality, these young people intend to carry out, together with children from the local parish and the cityl, “a summer school”, which consists, above all, in carrying out recreational and cultural activities aimed at occupying the free time for children and young people.
