Portugal: African Students Association in Bragança regrets the death of Óscar Monteiro

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The African Students Association in Bragança (AEAB) regrets the death of Cabo Verdean Óscar Monteiro, in that city of Portugal, following a road accident with a motorcycle, occurred on Sunday night, the 8th.

In a statement, AEAB recalled that Óscar Monteiro was a founding partner and president of this association and he “made a trajectory marked by an unblemide, a deep dedication to the family, for cultivating friendships and by respect for others.”

“We show all our gratitude, for friendship, companionship, teachings, counselor dedication in the service of the community. In this moment of pain, for such irreparable loss, the AEAB sympathizes with the wife, children, family and friends of the Oscar, begging God to comfort all of us, to receive him in peace in his eternal abode because it is an unparalleled loss”, the Association says.

Óscar Monteiro was coach of the African Students team in Bragança, which is dedicated to soccer practice in that city, where the academic community is “in shock” over the death of the young man who had lived for several years in Bragança, where he went to study at the Polytechnic Institute.
