Africa-Press – Cape verde. Electra announced this afternoon, to customers on the island of Santiago, that the two general power cuts verified today are due to technical problems in the electricity production system at Central do Palmarejo, Praia.
The company says it regrets what happened and informs that it is “doing everything possible to resume the normal operation of the service”, the company said in a statement.
“To our esteemed customers and the general public” the company asks “apologies and understanding”.
