Africa-Press – Cape verde. The City Hall of Praia presents to the citizens this Friday the Municipal Observatory of Entrepreneurship, an instrument, according to the City Hall, which aims to implement, monitor, follow and evaluate the entire eco-system for fostering entrepreneurship.
The aim, according to a press release from the City Hall, is to foster economic success “which increasingly depends on the ability to create new ideas”.
It is also intended with this observatory to monitor and follow up the Projects Financed by the City Hall of Praia, the collection of Statistical Data of Entrepreneurship at the level of the municipality and the Southern region, support the creation of policies and strategies to support entrepreneurship and collaborate with national and foreign institutions in the creation of employment.
“The Municipal Observatory of Entrepreneurship of Praia will develop policies for business growth, implement awareness initiatives in schools and universities, with a view to creating a generation of young people with an entrepreneurial spirit”, says the same source.
Carrying out studies on the impact of entrepreneurship on the economic dynamics of the municipality, as well as advice and recommendations at the level of the municipality in the definition of policies to promote new business development strategies in the City of Praia constitute other purposes of this instrument.
The presentation event will take place this Friday, at 3:00PM, in the hall of the municipalities of the Town Council.
