The information announced to the press by the Mayor, after the first rains on Sunday, the 19th, and he also refers to a reinforcement plan for interventions in the most critical neighborhoods, aiming to respond to the needs on time.
“The different departments of the City Hall, which have responsibility in this matter, annually draw up the rain action plan. We will have the plan ready this week, but there are several actions that have already been materialized throughout the year”, he said, pointing to actions such as cleaning of ditches, obstructions of streams and places where water circulates.
Francisco Carvalho said the areas of greatest risk have already been identified for several years, so this is the only way to work.
