Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Armed Forces of Cape Verde reported, today, the death of Second Sergeant Bermínio Jorge da Veiga Correia, victim of a traffic accident registered last night, Tuesday, near the access road to the Praia Baixo area, municipality of São Domingos, island of Santiago.
“In this hour of consternation and deep sadness, the Armed Forces of Cape Verde offer their deepest condolences to the bereaved family for the physical disappearance of Second Sergeant Bermínio Jorge da Veiga Correia”, reads a note published by the Armed Forces.
As A Nação has learned, the funeral of Bermínio Jorge da Veiga Correia, who was also known as “Pirila”, will take place this Tuesday, 27, from the neighborhood of Calabaceira, city of Praia, where the deceased lived.
The Armed Forces of Cape Verde said that the Funeral Honors program for the deceased will be communicated in due course.
