Africa-Press – Cape verde. The MpD Municipal group in Praia this Thursday assessed the 2022 management account as the worst that has ever appeared in the municipality, while the PAICV highlighted the execution rate of 55.43 Percent (%).
These assessments were made on the second and last day of the VI Ordinary Session of the Municipal Assembly of Praia, which had as one of its purposes, to assess the activity report and management accounts for the year 2022.
For the spokesman for the Movement for Democracy (MpD-opposition), Manuel Alves, this is the worst management account that has ever appeared in this municipality, given that “it doesn’t even convince the African Party for the Independence of Cabo Verde (PAICV-power)”.
This is because, he explained, the account, apart from being poorly drawn up, doesn’t allow for a proper and in-depth appraisal, adding that they never had the 2021 account which “disappeared”, which makes it complicated, in his view, to appraise the 2022 account.
