According to a press release, the mural “Les Alizés /Os Ventos do Futuro” on the outside of the establishment illustrates the fundamental and multicultural values of the French school Les Alisés, the result of a partnership with Tutu Sousa and the French Embassy.
“The artist, who explores his own aesthetic path by painting and sculpting in all formats, welcomed the students to his art gallery located in Terra Branca, making them discover this neighborhood, the heart of a social and artistic project”, said the artist. note. It was in this context that the students and the artist finished the joint work directly on the wall of the “Les Alizés” School.
The colorful artwork gives another vision to Avenida OUA, in Achada de Santo, Praia, where the French international school is located, which since 1992 has offered a French curriculum with multilingual teaching, including English, Spanish and Portuguese, in addition to the artistic, scientific and cultural.
The inauguration of the Mural of the School “Les Alizés” takes place at 2:30 pm this Monday, 27, in the presence of the French Ambassador to Cape Verde, Olivier Serot Almeras.
