Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Senior University of Cape Verde (Uni-Sénior) and the Pedro Gomes Secondary School, in Praia, signed, on Monday, a cooperation protocol for the provision of a space where the university will promote training classes to associates.

This will be the first protocol signed, after the formalization and launch of the organization, which took place on March 25th and whose purpose is to promote the defense of the social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual well-being of its members.

According to a source from Uni-Sénior, quoted by Inforpress, the first training to be given in the space provided by Escola Secundária Pedro Gomes will be information technology.

Uni-Sénior plans to start, on Monday, 25th, a training course in the area of ​​cooking, to take place at the Centro Cultural Brasileiro, in Palmarejo, Praia.

The cooking workshop will focus on the problem of healthy eating aimed, above all, at diabetic people, but also on the preventive strategy, thus contributing to a diet that promotes a healthy life.

The training will be under the responsibility of Rita Lobo, a member of Uni-Sénior, who will share her experience as a diabetic, as well as the intelligent way of selecting and preparing food for people affected by this disease.

The training session will take place on Mondays, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with groups of eight to ten people, and registration is open at the Uni-Sénior facilities, in Palmarejo.
