Africa-Press – Cape verde. The President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, was greeted Tuesday by his Senegalese counterpart, Macky Sall, at the Presidential Palace in Dakar as part of his official visit to Senegal.
The Cabo Verdean Head of State landed this morning at Blaise Diagne International Airport and was greeted by State Minister Cheikh Kante.
On Tuesday morning, he held a meeting with his Senegalese counterpart, which served for the top representatives of the two countries to cement the dialogue and to portray issues related to bilateral, sub-regional and African Union cooperation, chaired since February this year by Macky Sall.
In the margins of the meeting, an extended meeting was held with delegations from the two countries. Also in Dakar, José Maria Neves is planning to meet this afternoon with the Cabo Verdean community there and visit the Black Civilizations Museum, accompanied by the Senegal’s Minister of Culture.
