Africa-Press – Cape verde. The President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, receives today at 4:30 pm, a delegation from the West African Regional Group of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), led by the 3rd Vice-President of the PAP, Lúcia dos Passos.
The group has been visiting Cape Verde since the 24th and the trip will continue until the 27th, on an advocacy mission for the ratification of the revised Protocol of the Pan-African Parliament and other legal instruments of the African Union.
The delegation includes eight parliamentarians: Lúcia Maria Mendes Goncalves dos Passos (3rd Vice-President of the PAP), Alhagie Mbow (President of the PAP’s West African Regional Group), Lazare Yao Yao, Mário Celso Alves Teixeira, Carla Lima, Euclides Silva , Salifu Jawo and Essossimna Balouki-Legzim.
