Africa-Press – Cape verde. The prices of products imported by Cabo Verde increased by 2.1% in July 2023, 1.1 percentage points (p.p.) more than in the previous month, the National Institute of Statistics (INE) announced today.
According to the External Trade Price Index, the monthly rate of change in the prices of exported products stood at -0.6% in July 2023, 0.1 p.p. lower than that recorded in the previous month.
The monthly change rate recorded by the Terms of Trade Index was -2.7%, indicates the INE, with a decrease of 1.2 p.p. compared to the value recorded in the previous month.
The same source also explained that in July 2023, the import price index stood at 137.9, having registered an increase of 2.1% compared to the previous month.
