Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Prime Minister said today that the resumption of the post-COVID-19 private sector will require “a strong commitment and social dialogue”, aiming to provide Cabo Verde with “greater resilience” and a “more diversified” economy.

Ulisses Correia e Silva made these statements during his speech at the presentation ceremony of the plan for the resumption of the post-COVID-19 private sector, held in Praia.

The plan was “well designed” and aims to ensure the recovery of the private sector and for the Cabo Verdean economy to work in difficult times marked by the crisis, he considered.

He stressed the importance of the State, represented by the Government, trade unions and employers having convergence in relation to what are “the great options” for Cabo Verde to achieve, despite the existing challenges, the objectives outlined in the plan.
