Africa-Press – Cape verde. The São Nicolau Regional Football Association (ARFSN), in partnership with the Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF), has a range of training courses underway, within the scope of the Cape Verde Super Cup on the island.
Speaking to the press, the president of ARFSN, Carlos Vieira, said that during this week training is taking place on the FIFA Connect Platform, aimed at sports directors on the island, as well as training for game delegates, in order to enable them to participate in regional and national competitions.
According to him, throughout the week the referees on the island of São Nicolau also participated in a refresher course, in order to “be better prepared” for the start of the 2023/2024 sports season.
“These are very important training courses, mainly the retraining of referees and the training of delegates that will help with the success of the new sporting season here on the island, which starts on Sunday”, he highlighted.
The training sessions are part of the program for the Cape Verde Super Cup, scheduled for Saturday, 25th, at the Orlando Rodrigues Municipal Stadium, in the city of Tarrafal, and are taught by technicians from the Cape Verdean Football Federation.
