Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Inspectorate-General for Economic Activities (IGAE) on Saturday destroyed 2803 liters of “poor quality” brandy, seized on the island of Sal.
The drink, according to IGAE, was produced from refined sugar, unsuitable for human consumption.
In addition, it was stored in inappropriate containers and with traces of chemical products.
Other products
The operation was carried out within the scope of joint inspection actions by IGAE, the National Police and the Municipality of Sal.
In addition to the brandy, other products were seized, including juices and beers, which were destroyed in the Morrinho do Carvão dump.
