Africa-Press – Cape verde. The management of Sanjoanenses, one of the official clubs in Santo Antão Sul, announced today its participation in official basketball competitions in this 2023-2024 season in Santo Antão.

The vice-president of this sports association, Rui David, informed that the club has already resumed basketball training with a view to preparing the teams to participate, for the first time, in official competitions in Santo Antão, this season.
“We mark the restart of basketball training for the 2023/24 season. After a year of implementation and experimentation, one of our objectives this season is to compete”, he said.
After an absence of seven years, Santo Antão returned, last season, to host official competitions with the presence of the clubs Porto Novo Basket, Madrugadores, Santo Crucifixo and Liprobasket.
