Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Santa Catarina chamber expects 30 to 40 participants in the “Entrepreneurship Week” workshop, which will take place on Wednesday, the 15th, as part of the commemorative program of the Municipality Day festivities, celebrated on the 25th.
Community Development councilor Maria José Brandão said that the chamber invited local companies and entrepreneurs from the municipality of Santa Catarina do Fogo to the workshop.
The workshop aims to publicize the policies that the Government has adopted to promote entrepreneurship, but also to publicize incentives and support that the chamber has given to companies to help in the process of economic development in Santa Catarina.
The councilor said that the workshop, which is part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, is carried out in partnership with other institutions, including Pró-empresa.
In addition to the policy adopted by the Government in relation to entrepreneurship, related aspects such as training, active employment policies, business ideas and economic development of the municipality will also be addressed.
In addition to holding the workshop on “Entrepreneurship Week”, the councilor also highlighted in the economic area the holding of the agricultural, crafts and services fair, scheduled for the 21st and 22nd, in the center of the city of Cova Figueira.
According to the councilor, 16 exhibitors were invited to the fair, all from the municipality of Santa Catarina do Fogo, of which ten have already confirmed their participation.
