Africa-Press – Cape verde. The municipality of Ribeira Grande de Santo Antão is the fifth with the best quality of life in the country, announced the mayor, Orlando Delgado, citing statistical data that measure the quality of life index in the different municipalities.
Orlando Delgado was referring to the data from the territorial cohesion index and assured that, despite being well placed among the 22 municipalities in the country, Ribeira Grande wants more, and promised to continue working for the well-being of all Ribeira Grande residents.
The mayor of Ribeira Grande spoke to Inforpress, this morning, during the show commemorating the 290th anniversary of the creation of the municipality of Santo Antão and the elevation of Povoação de Santa Cruz to the category of town, with the name of Vila da Ribeira Grande, today .
