Africa-Press – Cape verde. The tour guides in Santo Antão have been doing “an excellent job” to promoting this island, assuming themselves as “the ambassadors” of tourism this region offers, according to information provided by the Tourist Office of Porto Novo.
“In promoting tourism we count on the excellent work of the ‘ambassadors’ of our island who, daily, promote tourism”, said today the tourism office, which again praised the contribution in favor of tourism of Santo Antão.
The Tour Guides Association guarantees, in turn, that the professional guides of tourism in Santo Antão are “prepared” to help tourists make trips to this island “a real experience”. The association’s leader, Odair Gomes, says that tour guides are “ready” to provide tourists “a better environment” to make the visits “a real experience”.
Santo Antão continues to affirm itself as “a trekking destination for nature lovers”, informed the Tourist Office of Porto Novo, which also praised the fact that this island continues, constantly, to receive groups of tourists.
