Africa-Press – Cape verde. A car accident that occurred this morning on the road São Domingos-City of Praia, involving a hiace and a passenger vehicle, left 16 injured, including a 6-year-old child.
According to information provided by the assistant commander of the Fire – Praia Department, Ronaldo Varela, the alert was given by the commander of the São Domingos fire service, who requested the support of the praiense corporation.
Immediately, it mobilised four ambulances and one extrication vehicle with a total of 16 personnel.
“When we arrived at the crash site we found a head-on collision between the two vehicles, a public transport hiace and a light passenger vehicle where we had to evacuate the 16 injured including a 6-year-old child,” he reported.
