Africa-Press – Cape verde. The assignment of the asphalting work of nine urban roads in the city of São Filipe will be celebrated during the month of July between the city council and the company that won the competition.
The announcement was made by the mayor of São Filipe, Nuías Silva, at the solemn commemorative session of the 101st anniversary of the city of São Filipe, marked last Wednesday, indicating that among the nine urban roads is the avenue that gives access to the Regional Hospital Saint Francis of Assisi.
The São Filipe City Council, it is recalled, signed last February a contract for the execution of a works contract for the asphalting of nine urban roads in the city of São Filipe financed 100 per cent (%) by the municipal budget and was awaiting the approval of the Court of Auditors before proceeding with the consignment.
The roads to be paved are those that go from the intersection of Cezinha de Telecom’s residence, passing through the old Hospital Regional São Francisco de Assis, from the Largo of headquarters of the Red Cross to Xaguate (restaurante Fronteira), Escola Central, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Trás de Shell to Santa Filomena, Bar Fixe to Cruz dos Passos, Alto da Aguadinha to Pé de Campo and the street that goes from Sucupira to the roundabout next to the National Police station.
