Africa-Press – Cape verde. The vice prime minister guaranteed that the Mindelo Data Center should come into operation from next year and allow Cape Verdean youth to take advantage of this investment of around 53 million dollars.
The announcement by Olavo Correia was made on Wednesday, 30th, in Mindelo, when presiding over the inauguration ceremony of the new tourist complex Ouril Hotel Mindelo.
According to the official, the executive wants to finish the works and equip the technology park, located in the Ribeira de Julião area, this year and next year to carry out a “grand opening” of this project.
“It’s a great investment anywhere in the world, so that young Cape Verdeans, from any island in Cape Verde, can be in Praia and Mindelo, in our technology parks, having the conditions that any young people in the United States, Germany or France have,” he said.
