Africa-Press – Cape verde. The city of Mindelo will host, from the 4th to the 17th of July, the first Stop Over of the Globe 40 Regatta, a round-the-world competition that combines sports performance, adventure, promotion and awareness of the protection of the seas.
“Cape Verde, and Mindelo, in particular, due to its geostrategic position, was awarded with one of the stops of this great competition”, says the Ministry of the Sea, according to which the stay of the regatta in Mindelo will promote several sporting and cultural activities. Globe 40’s visit to Cape Verde counts on the partnership of the Ministry of the Sea, Enapor and the entire Board of the sector.
