Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Public University of Cape Verde will host, tomorrow, the 13th, at 10 am, a round table on the theme “Smart agriculture in the face of climate change: role of higher education”. The event will be held in a hybrid format on the Palmarejo Grande campus and online.
Promoted by the School of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (ECAA), the debate will include the creation of technologically modern, profitable and environmentally sustainable cooperatives or cooperatives.
Likewise, the great challenges of the sector will be discussed, as well as the objective, also, that at the end ideas and solutions will be presented.
The round table is divided into two panels, the first on “Smart Agriculture” and the second on “Agriculture in a world in crisis” and will feature speakers from universities in Portugal and Brazil.
