Africa-Press – Cape verde. Esporte Clube África Show celebrates its 50th anniversary next Saturday, the 11th, with a diverse program integrating health and culture, in a celebration of half a century of history in the Rabil area.

The celebration was announced by the club under the motto “50 years of history with glory,” and includes a community program that begins at 9:00 AM with the “Health Check-up Space.”

The initiative offers specialized consultations to the population, with the presence of oncologist Hirondina Spencer and urologist Eveline Sophia Brito, highlighting the importance of medical prevention.

The festivities continue in the afternoon, starting at 5:00 PM, with the presentation of the play “Nova Casa,” followed by a wide-ranging program of music and traditional dance, with artists such as Kaká d’Mana, Nanock, Tio Lino, Djila Silva, and Dany Pires.

The celebration of the club’s 50th anniversary coincides with the recent conquest of the first regional championship title in its history.

The board is using the event to celebrate not only the anniversary, but also the team’s sporting performance during that period, in which they won the championship undefeated and set a record of 40 points.

For the organizers, this celebratory program is also about valuing the community and the club, which today is “a symbol of identity and pride” for Rabil and the island of Boa Vista.
