Africa-Press – Cape verde. TACV announced today the launch of an international public tender for the contracting of consulting services, with the objective of developing the company’s new Strategic and Business Plan for the period 2026-2031.
The airline justifies that the transportation sector faces post-COVID-19 transformations, with the emergence of new players and growing competitiveness in the national market, and that it therefore intends to strategically reposition itself, reinforcing its viability and sustainability as a national flag carrier.
The study to be developed must analyze the market, routes and strategic actions necessary to consolidate the carrier’s presence in the aviation sector, not only in Cape Verde, but also at a regional level.
The future strategy will also be based on the Government’s Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development (PEDS), particularly with regard to the implementation of the air hub on Sal Island, for which TACV is considered a fundamental instrument.
Furthermore, the plan must present the company’s externalities, assessing its impact and contribution to the country’s economic and social development.
The company aims to attract consultants with proven experience in similar projects, who present an innovative vision and a comprehensive approach to responding to new challenges and opportunities in the sector.
