Africa-Press – Cape verde. Portugal will host the next bilateral summit with Cape Verde, on November 19th, the prime ministers of both countries announced today, in the city of Praia.
Special relations deserve “special events”, said the head of Government of Portugal, Luís Montenegro, adding that, on the sidelines, there will be a bilateral meeting between businesspeople and economic agents from the two countries.
“We have been materializing, and with good results, investment by Portuguese companies in Cape Verde”, he said.
“There is space, desire and conditions to reinforce the economic and business partnership, taking advantage of opportunities in different areas”, added Ulisses Correia e Silva.
The Prime Minister hopes that, on the sidelines of the summit, “an investment forum will be organized that is comprehensive and extended to tourism, blue economy, digital economy, industry and opportunities, along with digital transformation and energy transition”.
