Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, will be one of the speakers at the 3rd Italy-Africa Summit, on Monday, 29, in Rome, a meeting that will be attended by European and African leaders, announced his office, in a statement.
The plenary meeting has seats reserved for the president of the Italian Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, the president of the African Union (AU), Azali Assoumani, and the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, among others.
The Prime Minister will participate with an intervention dedicated to the theme “Professional Training and Cultural Promotion”.
Ulisses Correia e Silva will highlight “the need for Africa to value the empowerment of its citizens”, drawing on the Cape Verdean experience, the note reads.
The prime minister will also speak, on Tuesday, at the 5th Annual Summit of the European Business Council for Africa and the Middle East, also known as the ECAM Council.
At this event, discussions will be dedicated to “challenges and opportunities for public-private partnership in the area of health and related sectors in Europe, Africa and the Middle East”, concluded the Cape Verdean Government.
