In a statement, Uni-CV explains that the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Lab (RAIL) aims to take the first step in establishing a sustainable approach to encourage local talent to get involved in research , in innovation and the development of multidisciplinary and responsible artificial intelligence.
RAIL, according to the note, aims to promote the creation of a consortium that currently involves Cape Verde, Senegal and Ghana, indicating that it is based in Ghana, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and has satellite laboratories in Cape Verde in University of Cape Verde and in Senegal, at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar.
