Africa-Press – Cape verde. In place of Netflix’s annual festive series that subscribers have come to love, How To Ruin Christmas, the streaming giant has introduced an all-new six-part romantic comedy, Yoh! Christmas.
Coming to screens on Friday, 15 December, the series stars perpetually single Thando (Katlego Lebogang), who is lucky in everything but love, a detail her family and society won’t let her forget.
After one too many Christmas Eve dinners relegated to the kiddies’ table, Thando is determined to change her fate. Things will be different as she announces she’s bringing a boyfriend home.
The only snag is she doesn’t have one… yet. With only 24 days left for her to find a man, Thando is forced to reckon with a muddy and ever-shrinking dating pool.
Starring alongside Lebogang in the show are industry veterans such as Sthandiwe Kgoroge, Hlomla Dandala, Lerato Mvelase, Dorothy-Ann Gould, Tiffany Barbuzano, Tumisho Masha, Mpho Popps, Kagiso Modupe and Sello Motloung.
Also in the cast are Siya Sepotokele, Siv Ngesi, Ntobeko Sishi, Didie Makobane, Altovise Lawrence, Laura-Lee Mostert and Wayne van Rooyen.
