Africa-Press – Cape verde. The president of the Popular Party (PP), Amândio Vicente, said today that his party “is still active” even though it does not appear in the media, stating that the PP has “a new work strategy”.
“This party now has a new work strategy, due to the constraints inherent to its operation, namely the lack of resources to pay the rent of a headquarters, which has made it difficult for the PP leaders to meet in person”, said the politician.
Amândio Vicente was speaking to Inforpress following the noted absence of the PP’s press conferences, which were once fortnightly. “This party still exists, because it’s not dead and it’s not going to end, because the PP was founded not to take advantage of politics, but to serve the citizen as a voluntary and patriotic option,” emphasised Amândio Vicente.
