Africa-Press – Eritrea. An artifacts exhibition in connection with the New Year was opened today, 20 December, in front of the Ministry of Education. The exhibition is being staged by women members of the ‘Tinsae’ Association in the Central Region.
The exhibition, which will remain open until 31 December, includes ceramics, paintings, textiles, ornaments, and other artistic works.
Ms. Weini Tesfay, one of the coordinators of the program, said that the association has staged similar exhibitions in connection with 8 March, International Women’s Day; May 24, Independence Day anniversary; as well as during the National Festival and Tourism Day. She also said that the program will continue in connection with national holidays.
The ‘Tinsae’ Association was established in 2012 in the Central Region and operates under the auspices of the National Union of Eritrean Women.
