Africa-Press – Eritrea. Thirty patients have been diagnosed positive for COVID-19 in tests carried out today at Quarantine Centers and Testing Stations in the Central, Anseba, and Southern Regions.
Out of these, twelve patients are from Testing Stations in Asmara, Central Region. Eleven patients are from Quarantine Center in Keren (6) and Testing Stations in Elabaret (3), and Hagaz (2); Anseba Region. Seven patients are from Testing Stations in Mendefera (4), Adi-Keih (1), Senafe (1), and Halhale (1); Southern Region.
On the other hand, forty-seven patients who have been receiving medical treatment in hospitals in the Southern (30) and Central (17) Regions have recovered fully and have been discharged from these facilities. Sadly, 80 years old patient from the Central Region has passed away due to the pandemic.
The total number of recovered patients has accordingly increased to 7,190 while the number of deaths has risen to 61.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country to date has increased to 7,442.
