Africa-Press – Eritrea. Two patients have been diagnosed positive for COVID-19 in tests carried out today at Quarantine Centers in the Central Region.
On the other hand, twenty-five patients who have been receiving medical treatment in hospitals in the Southern (13) and Central (12) Regions have recovered fully and have been discharged from these facilities. Sadly, 84 years old patient in the Southern Region has passed away due to the pandemic.
The total number of recovered patients has accordingly risen to 6,444 while the number of deaths increased to 35.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country to date has risen to 6,547.
