Africa-Press – Eritrea. The race for African supremacy has reached its decisive stage, with the semi-final lineup of the CAF Champions League now officially set.
Four of the continent’s most formidable sides remain in contention, promising high-stakes clashes defined by pedigree, rivalry, and ambition.
In one semi-final, Tunisian giants Esperance Sportive de Tunis will face South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns in a classic North versus South showdown. Both clubs boast rich continental histories and tactical discipline, setting the stage for a tightly contested encounter where margins are expected to be razor-thin.
The second semi-final delivers a compelling domestic rivalry, as AS FAR take on RS Berkane in an all-Moroccan affair. With familiarity comes intensity, and this derby is expected to be fiercely contested as both sides vie for national and continental bragging rights.
The first legs are scheduled for April 10–11, with the return fixtures set for April 17–18, as each team looks to secure a place in the final and take a decisive step toward lifting Africa’s most prestigious club trophy.
With continental powerhouses, historic rivalries, and contrasting styles on display, the semi-finals promise a spectacle worthy of the tournament’s legacy. At this stage, there is no margin for error—only the strongest will advance.
