Asmara, 28 July 2021- At a six months activity assessment meeting conducted on 27 July, it was reported that with integrated effort conducted on the part of the public and concerned government and public institutions commendable activities have been conducted in the implementation of the charted out development programs in the Central Region.
At the meeting in which heads of departments and branches of the region took part, reports were presented on the summer greening campaign, water and soil conservation, the permission of renovation of residential houses as well as renovation of roads and pavements.
The reports also included the progress of agricultural development, effort to control the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, sports activities as well as the condition of the social service provision institutions.
Speaking at the event, the Governor of the Central Region, Mr. Fesehaye Haile, called for reinforced participation of all concerned institutions and partners for the implementation of the set-out development programs for the coming six months.
