Africa-Press – Eritrea. Asmara, 27 April 2024 – Ambassador Zemede Tekle, Commissioner of Culture and Sports, announced that preparations for colorfully celebrating the 33rd Independence Anniversary under the theme “Peace Anchored on Resilience” have been finalized.
Ambassador Zemede further noted that extensive programs scheduled for the coming weeks include four thematic concerts for children, youth, the army, and the general public, as well as documentary films, among others. The program is set to commence today, 27 April, with a concert for children at Bahti Meskerem Square.
Furthermore, Ambassador Zemede said that Schools Week will be organized from 8 to 20 May, and community gatherings will take place from 20 to 23 May in all sub-zones.
In related news, the Ministry of Information will disseminate programs through all national media outlets in connection with the 33rd Independence Day Anniversary.
