Africa-Press – Eritrea. Following the diplomatic meetings of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York,
Amir Abdullah met and talked with the Minister of Foreign Affairs at his residence. In this meeting, the issues related to the two countries were included in the bilateral sphere of discussion and exchange of views.
Referring to Iran’s government’s special view of Africa and important foreign countries in Iran’s relations and cooperation, Amir Abdollahian said that there is an understanding between us in the fields of some development issues and we hope that we will be able to fulfill the previous agreements.
Iran’s foreign minister described Africa as a rich continent in terms of material and spiritual resources as well as the wealth of human resources and added that we are ready to cooperate with Eritrea in various fields of interest to both countries.
Amir Abdullahian invited Eritrea’s foreign minister to visit Iran, which was welcomed by him.
