Africa-Press – Eritrea. Italian Serie A club Napoli has signed Kevin De Bruyne on a free transfer following the end of his contract with Manchester City.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis shared a photo with the Belgian midfielder on X, saying: “Benvenuto (welcome) Kevin!”
Manchester City had announced in April that De Bruyne, 33, would leave the club at the end of the season, concluding a 10-year spell at Man City.
De Bruyne made 28 Premier League appearances last season, scoring four goals and providing seven assists.
He joined Man City from Wolfsburg in 2015 and went on to help the club win six Premier League titles and their first-ever UEFA Champions League crown in 2023.
Across 422 appearances for Man City, De Bruyne tallied 108 goals and 177 assists. He was twice named Premier League Player of the Season, in 2019–20 and 2021–22.
