Africa-Press – Eritrea. Bibiani Goldstars are on the verge of appointing Maxwell Konadu as their new head coach after reaching a verbal agreement with the experienced tactician.

The former Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities boss has been in advanced discussions with the miners, and while both parties have agreed in principle, Konadu is yet to put pen to paper on a formal contract.

As a result, the coach will not be on the bench for Goldstars in their upcoming return leg fixture, leaving interim arrangements in place for the crucial game.

Goldstars, who have been eager to stabilize their technical direction, believe Konadu’s vast experience in the Ghana Premier League and his reputation for building competitive sides make him the right fit for the job.

The deal is expected to be finalized soon, with supporters of the Bibiani-based club hopeful that his arrival will mark the beginning of a new and ambitious chapter for the team.
